The Gary Tinker Federation for the Disabled Inc’s main goal is to make long term improvements in the lives of disabled persons that reside in northern Saskatchewan.
The Gary Tinker Federation for the Disabled Inc (G.T.F.) is a non-profit organization established in 1989 to identify and address the needs of disabled persons in northern Saskatchewan.

Membership
Regular membership in the Federation is open to northern persons with a disability. Only members of the Federation have the right to hold office and the right to vote.

Objectives
- To identify and create awareness of the special needs of northern people with a disability;
- To liaise with government and non-government agencies regarding service provision and enhancement for northerners with disabilities;
- To facilitate the establishment of a peer support network among people with disabilities;
- To promote the establishment of self-help groups in local communities to effect community action;
- To expand opportunities for disabled persons to achieve vocational skills and job training.
